This pot made of clay without any additives. It is indeed good pot. And cooker itself is good. We did soup and rice with veggies already, which takes ~2.5 hours on standard setting. You can't choose temperature here, which is may be not that great, but it works fine for me. Another minus - I like making oatmeal for the breakfast, and using this cooker everyday now. I put steal cut oatmeal on KEEP WARM overnight - and it is ready. the only problem it is stick a bit to the bottom edges of the pot, but not terribly bad, and easy to clean. I prefer cleaning rather than have anti-sticking surface that is not safe to use for cooking... The size is great, I have 5.5 L, which is not big and not small. I like it.
